Default Which Bilstein shock should I get?

I have a 2000 F150 2-wheel drive that I'm preparing to lift just a little and I'm also replacing the shocks. I'm going to put spindles on the front so I went ahead and installed 4600 HD shocks on the front for stock height (LOVE, btw). My question is about which shock I should get for the rear. I'm planning to lift the rear 1 1/2" with blocks. Should I just get the stock height 4600 HD or is there some other shock I should get?

Thanks for any insight!

Default Rear Bilstein shocks...

I rarely tow. Once or twice a year I'll load the truck up with firewood or pull a trailer loaded with firewood. Truck is mainly my daily driver, hunting, etc.

What I found was the 4600 HD states it is to be used up to 1" of lift, then the next one listed is for 3-6" of lift. Wth?? lol

I'm wondering if I should get rear shocks for a stock 4 wheel drive??? If they're even the same mounting locations, etc..

Get stock 5100's for the rear for a 4wd. You will have to call Bilstein to get the part number. I'm running Bilsteins and will never run anything else.

Default Carcrazy...

I understand that the 4600 is for a stock truck and the 5100 is for trucks with lift. I guess you're saying get a 4600 for a stock 4 wheel drive??
