Default Bench to Split Bench - Seat Bracket Alignment

Hello -

I picked up a very clean split 60/40 bench from a '99 (date code1899) to upgrade from the stock XL bench in my '03. While the passenger side lines up with the existing mounting points, the brackets (cast aluminum) don't align on the driver's side. I can use the steel bracket from the bench on the new driver's seat, but what should I look for with the inboard driver's side bracket? Oh, and I already tried using the passenger side bench bracket on the driver's seat, that won't work either.

I've already spent a couple hours scouring the web and some of the YouTube how-to videos, but none have brought up this issue.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks!

Cast aluminum brackets, front side.

Cast aluminum brackets, rear.

**Disregard - turns out the problem was that the previous owner switched them out when he was attempting to fit the seats in his '71 F100.

All better now in the world's nicest $500 truck
