Default Bed rust help..

I have some serious bed rust. It's to the point where I'm scared to have any weight in my truck bed. How can I fix this? Could a new bed fix this ?

Yea usually when they're that far gone.... I know, -I'm working on one that is too far gone lol.

Well, if your VERY lucky and that's the worst of it, you might be able to piece it in w/18 gauge. That's IF you have something to weld to....big IF.

To patch that correctly takes alot of knowledge. Well scratch that, it doesn't take allot knowledge, it takes the ability to tell good advice form bad. Sadly, - 90% of the stuff you read on the internet about body repair, rust and corrosion in very incorrect. But that's my big bitch lol.

Time would be better spent looking for a good box, - deals come and go, specially for these trucks, - keep your eyes pealed.

Take a look underneath the bed...you'll probably see why it would be best to just replace the whole thing or live with the rust.
