bearing...
So i was going to replace my passenger front hub tonight.. but I couldn't get the damn bolts that hold the caliper bracket off. Anyone have any ideas?/ I am attempting to loosen the right bolt right?

Not sure what the deal is.. This is my first time replacing a hub so I'm assuming I have to take the caliper off to get the bearing off. There is a bolt on top (in the picture) and a bolt on bottom for this. Why won't they move?! I sprayed them with PB and they still won't budge. Sorry for crappy cell phone pic

picture doesnt work but im pretty sure i know what bolt youre talking about. you didnt have to take the caliper off of the caliper bracket all you need to do is take them two caliper bracket bolts out and the whole caliper assembly will come off. this can be a pain...as youve already noticed. these two bolts are held in with thread locker. heat em up or get a breaker bar in there and muscle em. make sure when you put the bolts back in to put thread locker back on them otherwise they will pop right back out no matter how much you torque em.
i had one pop out when i put new caliper, pads and rotors on. went to the local dealer and paid $5 for a new bolt. the guy said they dont ahve a torque spec, you MUST put thread locker on them and then tighten them to hold them in.

How did you fit the impact gun in there? / I will try using a bigger breaker bar tomorrow. Already put the tire back on tonight and don't have any thread locker to put the caliper back on if I take it off again tonight anyways.
i think i fit an impact in there too but a breaker bar will work better than power tools. i just had to get that bolt off to fix a bearing on a mustang. i used a heat gun to heat the bolt lol i didnt have a torch. heat gun worked fine.
I don't have either of those.. ha. I may just have to resort to a breaker bar. I'm at college right now so tools are limited. Are the 3 bolts that hold in the hub assembly the same way? / Do I have to put thread locker on those 3 as well?

im not sure. when you take the bolts out take a look at the threads if you see red or yellow on the threads they have thread locker on em. i would re apply some. also get torque specs for all these bolts man. i would reccomend using the blue thread locker. it holds tight but the bolt can be removed alot easier than it can if you use the red thread locker. that **** is almost permanent.
