Well I think you guys are on to something with the Alternator. I let it sit overnight with the #1 primary battery megafuse pulled. This left only the Alternator wired to the battery overnight. Went out this morning and hooked up the other fuse again, opened the door and nothing. No dome light, no radio, no start. Battery was as dead as could be.
Now just for fun, and since I'm about to head to work for a 10hour shift, I threw in another charged battery, hooked it up, and this time disconnected the #2 primary battery fuse, which will disconnect the alternator. Left everything else hooked up. If my assumptions are correct I should make it home tonight and have tons of charge left on that battery.

Many parts stores test alternators for free....that would tell you for sure
Just thought I would post an update for everybody involved and for people searching for similar issues in the future. Disconnected the alternator wire and hooked everything else up. It has now been 3 days and the battery is still nice and full. So a brand new 130a alternator has been ordered and should be in within a few days. Based on the price of them it was as easy to order new as it was to bring in the defective one and have it rebuilt.

Before hooking up the new alternator, I would put a real charge on that battery, like for a few days if possible. I always disconnect the positive cable to the battery when giving it a good charge in a vehicle, so it won't fry any sensitive electronics like the computer chips etc. If you keep the battery charged and conditioned with one of those new digital battery chargers, they will last a long, long, time. I charge my about every two months even if I drive the vehicle a lot. The new chargers are made to electronically help break up the sulphur crud on the battery plates which is what kills a battery. Since the battery has been drained so many times, it needs a real good deep conditioning charge to "clean it up".
I am sure you know this, but just in case do not install the alternator with the battery hooked up.
Ok I replaced my fuel filter the other day right before I touched anything I put my key in and turned it over well it wouldn't start and my gauges started to jump crazy battery went dead instantly. And still have no power I have charged tumed key cranked slow twice then died . Put cables on and it besrlg helped would turn over slowly then die ? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Not in 1 day, but a week or two - had that happen. Turned out to be the glovebox light - the switch that turns it off when the glovebox door is closed was broken so the light stayed on constantly. This happened in my car, which was at home, several hundred miles away.
I was OOT for a few months on a contracting job, at that time didn't find it so I had a mechanic change out the fuse in the 'under the hood' circuit box with a relay and wired it to the switch circuit, this effectively killed the circuit that was causing the drain. Key is off, that particular circuit was dead. Took out the radio, interior lights etc till the key is turned on. Found the cause later but left the relay as it was, just in case something else goes bad in the future.

Thanks for your contribution. So far, the battery and the alternator tested fine. Figured I would replace the solenoid on the firewall. Did that. Still draining. Next, I'm thinking of replacing the starter with the piggybacked secondary solenoid.
The mention of the glove box lamp is interesting. I will check it and other comparable issues.
When the engine is hot, I can start it all I want and there's no problem. Also, from a cold start, after the 'clap-clap-clap' I think is coming from the starter, it slow cranks. Sometimes, this will lead to a start.
Please keep all additional information coming.

know the steps on how to disconnect the alternator for testing .
