Ball joint snapped

Hi all I have a 1998 f-250 and my driverside lower ball joint snapped. I got it home but I wanna know has anyone replaced everything and what kits have you guys used, did you like them? I wanna buy the uppers and I have a friend with a ball joint press so I can press out the lower?
