Default Ball Joint Question

Sorry if this is a repeat thread, I did a quick search and didn't find these discussed.

I believe I need some ball joints, I am typically a firm "you get what you pay for" kinda guy. But these also have a lifetime warranty.

Has anyone had any experience with ball joints from 1AAuto.com

http://www.1aauto.com/control-arm-an...=548902&y=2000

They have all 4 in a set for $110. The truck is a 2000 and has a 146000 miles, I figure even if these last a few years it would be pretty good.

But if people have had bad experience with them, and performance isn't of quality, I'll save and buy the better ones.

Thanks for the help and opinions.

Use Moog stuff. Try Rock auto for prices. Or head over to the Moog site and look yours up. Copy down the part number then go to rock auto for a price.

Yea, you want that front end sound..OEM or better.

I agree Moog but I can say that it's MUCH easier to deal with warranty replacement if you buy local. When I ordered my Moog parts from RockAuto they were the cheapest, that's why I ordered from them. But when one would wear out no local place would exchange it cause I didn't purchase from them. You have to options at this point. Buy another one local put on the truck and send the bad one back to RockAuto for an exchange. Or pay for a new one from RockAuto wait the few days it takes to come in. Install it and send old one back and wait for a refund. You had to cover shipping also. Just something to think about.

Yeah, MOOG is the Best choice. But you need to replace both Upper and Lower Control Arm. It's best to replace the whole front suspension instead of repairing them one by one.

Thanks! I was able to build a Cart on Rock Auto

The two lower ball joints and the UCA with ball joints all for $10 more than the no name 1aauto brand. Ill stick with the Moog stuff.

$118.07

Probably order here in a week or two
