Hi all, just getting my truck inspected and they said it needs a lower passenger ball joint! What do you guys think it would cost? 01 5.4 4X4

 

The part should be around 30 the labor should be no more than 1 hr maybe 1 1/2. Ask the shop what it's labor rate is and there you go. PA dealers run around 90/hr, little shops are more like 70/hr. Any more than 150 and I would shop around.

Hey it could have been like mine.. I needed all 4 replaced... but I was lucky they included it in the install when I had it lowered...

 

I just bought 2 lower ball joints and 2 upper control arms w/ ball joints. for like 160. Now I just got to install them sometime soon
