Default Bad Vibrations (as opposed to good)

I've got a problem, and I can't seem to nail it down.

In park, or neutral, everything is fine. If i stick it in drive, or reverse, I get these jerking vibrations, however, if i keep the break on and give it just a bit of gas to tension everything up, it goes away.

If im coasting on the highway, the vibration is not there, but if i barely touch the gas is when I get the vibration the worst. At higher speed (100km/h) the vibration is gone, if I accelerate hard the vibration is gone.. it seems its only present when im at low rpm, while in drive or reverse.

P.S. the front end feels solid when ive got the truck off and I look for play in the tires (checking for tie rods and such...)

edit: P.S Im driving a 2000 F150, with the 5.4 liter, 4x4 extended cab

Is your check engine light on? If so get your codes read. If not it is still a coil or two that has gone out and needs to be replaced. The cel code will help you nail down which one it is. Shops like autozone will read them for free.
