Default After market radio help

I'm thinking about getting a new radio put in my truck. I have a 6 disc cd changed that's in my glove box. Is it possible for the new radio to connect to the 6 disc cd changer. Would I have to get rid of it?

Do you mean a new AFTERMARKET head unit? Just about all of the newer ones have USB and iPod controls, even a 3.5mm jack for aux input...but NO CD changer controls or plug. They're making units now that don't even have a CD player at all - just iPod/iPhone or memory stick.

My Sony head unit is iPod/USB only. I don't mind as CDs are fading out to mp3s. Plus 6 cd changer = maybe 100 songs, 4gb USB is way more.

If you put it that way I can get rid of the 6 disc lol. Probably just gonna go with a new head unit and take out the 6 disk! Thanks for the help
