Touch up paint. Is what I'd do.

1 day paint will screw up within a year.

With that fiberglass bed, you'll be better off to just sand it down and fill it with fiberglass added body filler. Then do the primer and black touch up paint. I'm going to have to do the very same thing to my 98 Flareside this spring. Or, you can just paint it, but the gouge will definitely show on these beds.

Get a 1/2 pint of cheap single stage paint mixed up at your local auto paint store. Use the back of a paper match for a brush. Don't put it on too thick. After a few days, buff it by hand with polishing compound.

It's cheap paint. I've seen paint flake, clear coat peel off. All that bs.
