My mechanic said he checked for vacuum leaks and could not find any, so i'm gonna try a new IAC. Is it bad to get the cheaper Oreily store brand? Or what should I get? I think they said they could order the Motorcraft one, but it is quite a bit more expensive. Any places to order them online cheap?

Your truck started with Motorcraft, It should end with it. Especially with your motor, the very last place to skimp. Just my .02 cents

Maybe you should get a new Mechanic if he cannot figure it out. I hope he did not charge you for not diagnosing the truck
