Default back up lights

I was thinking of getting these lights for backup lights

and I was wondering how I should wire them up.

will I need a relay for them?

they should throw some good light. the stockers just don't cut it.i put on a set on the old 90 f250 on the bumper.i wired them into the wires that go to the reverse lights,so in reverse voila, they were both on. i never used a relay but maybe something to think about

that is what I was thinking, for 17 bucks, they are the same lights that are normally 50 bucks.

I thougth that at one time, someone on here said that the backup circut is only good for 55 watts or so, and if you were going to run more than that, you would need to run a relay that is triggered by the back up circut, and then run a positive wire from the battery back to the lights, then ground them.

any truth to this?
