axle junction box

Default axle junction box

I have a 1999 ford f150 4x4. could someone please tell me how to remove the brake line junction box off of the rear axle. Thanks

Its been a while since I've changed my brake lines but if I'm not mistaken the junction box is integrated onto the rear brake hose and the brake lines come into it from each side. The vent line also connects to the top of it.

the vent also double as the bolt for the block. they are a real pain to remove as the bolt likes to seize to the block.

My truck had 250000km on it and I just soaked mine down with wd and it un screwed easily
