Default axle change

hi
im looking at putting changing the axle in my f150 out for an axle out of an f250 with disc brakes.

the reason why im thinking of changing is because the new axle is only $300 and has disc brakes and has the same gear ratio as my truck currently and that i think my rear axle is going according to the shop i deal with.

so my question is will the axle out of the f250 be a dana 60? and will it fit in my truck.

i own a 1999 f150 4x4 with a 5.4L,auto,3.73 limited slip
the only axle stats i know are-The differential is a 3.73 gear ratio, 12 bolt cover, disc brakes, removable axles without clips if this helps.

any help would be appreciated and any further information about my truck i can provide

thanks again
