Default aux lights.

Just bought four new fog/driving lights and want to hook them up. Is it possible to wire them together without sacrificing output or blowing the fuse? I already have 4 hooked up. Can i wire them into the four i already have?

Wouldn't hurt to use a relay and then just hook it up to the same switch

For you all the power is going to the switch and most switches can't hold many amps so if you add a relay it'll save your switch from burning up

I think i may just wire a switch for each set of lights so i can add a custom switch piece in the dash that will hold four switches. Im gonna draw up a diagram and see what you think.

A relay allows a large amount of power to be switched by a small amount of power. Therefore the switch doesn't have to handle much current-it's done in the relay.
