Will that take away from the radiators cooling abilities being in front of it

No, your gonna be fine! The tranny lines pass through the radiator first so it's not going to be any warmer than the radiator. You will be fine.

So then It'll bypass the radiator then and only go to the sd one

Just wanted to update this I ran a new ground and took the truck on a 2+ hour trip yesterday and compared the gauges to the torque app trans is spot on and coolant is off a few degrees which looking back at how far the tee fitting I used puts the sensor away from the intake manifold it doesn't surprise me
