Automatic To Manual Conversion

Automatic To Manual Conversion
Howdy everyone, I'm completely new to the F-150 Forums, and I figured this would be the perfect place to post something like this. (sorry to the Admins if this is in the wrong category)
I want to do an Automatic To Manual Transmission Swap on my 2003 Ford F-150 King Ranch (5.4L), and I was wondering if anyone could help me confirm a few questions.
Question #1 - I'm not concerned with the fitment of the Transmission at all, that'll be a cake walk, the main thing I'm concerned about, is the Computer, just how much trouble is it going to give me?
Question #2 - If I decide to swap the motor out, is it possible for me to remove the Computer entirely, without hurting the truck?
Question #3 - In the event I have to do a Custom Tune on the Computer for the Manual Transmission, how much does something like that usually cost? (Rough Ballpark estimates are fine.)
Thanks!

Your easiest route is to find a wrecked manual 10th gen and swap over everything.
