Default Auto power window problem

I've searched for a while now but not finding anything. So the driver power window has the auto function but recently it has quit on me. Window rolls down but not "automatically". anybody know if it's the relay, or the fuse? Thanks

On my 98 the small crack near the window is causing the electrical problem.

The GEM under the dash control the auto function and activates the relay for the autodown function. The relay itself also controls the down function without auto. So my guess is you have a bad GEM. You could have a partially functioning relay or a bad terminal connection in the fuse box, but those are rare.

My 2001 is having a similar problem, but it won't work normal or auto. It went out once before about a month ago for a few hours (wouldn't roll down, but was a small click from the fuse box under dash when I would hit the down button) but later that day it started to work again with no problems. Just went out again this weekend and still is out. Doing the same click noise when I try to use the down button. Could it just be a simple bad relay or fuse somewhere?
