Default Auto Lamps not working

I have the auto lamp feature on my truck, it does not work. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be ok. My overhead temperature console thing does not work either....could this be the problem?

My truck is a 97, the daylight sensor is located in the dash about in the middle, looks like a little vent. Dont know what year your truck is but you might start there.

Good day,
I had this same problem in reverse... My headlights stayed on one night and nothing I did short of pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery would shut them off... I pulled the night sensor in the dash and it fixed the issue, but now the autolamps obviously don't work at all... They do operate like normal with the switch... As stated, you should start there...

Good luck and please to post the fix when you get it for others to use!!

Thanks much!!

Cheers!!!
