Default aussie locker help

I'm looking to have an Aussie locker installed. I have a 2000 Ford f150 4x4 4.6 with the limited slip rear end. Is installing the locker in a rear axle with a limited slip anymore complicated or need extra parts as opposed to installing it in an axle with a regular open differential.

Your ls will have to come out completely. The Aussie and the powertrax lock-right replace the spider gears of an open carrier. I would just rebuild the ls, that's just my opinion though

If ya want an aussie locker you'll have to swap in a open diff carrier. And the price of new parts isn't that far off of Detroit locker.

So a Detroit I can pull the ls and put it in but with the Aussie I have to buy new rear end parts?
