Default Anyone know what this is?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I noticed on my tire two lines that are like dented in, the tires are new with only ljke 5000 miles on them. Does anyone know if this is bad? Or is it common?

I think it is pretty normal. I believe, (could be wrong) that it is where the tire is joined together. I have seen it before and never had problems with it.

First, no question is dumb. Second, you are a good driver to inspect your tires for defects. Third - that is part of the manufacturing process and is perfectly normal. It is more pronounced on larger tires.
No worries.

Props for being a smart enough guys to inspect your tires. Not many people realize that it is necessary. But those little bumps are normal in tires, especially with big sidewalls. Nothing to worry about.
