Default antifreeze

I already asked about the procedure and got the answer I needed on how to change the anti. but I need to know what anti to buy. Is it the Dexcool, the red one the long life??? please help I'll be doing that this long weekend. . I just don't want to mess up my gaskets with the wrong antifreeze,a picture of the anti bottle would be nice. I have an 02 v6. I don't know what it has right now, I bought the truck used.

thanks for your help.

You should always ck the owners manual, use the link to download a free one since it sounds like you need one.

Dex-Cool is used in GM some imports from the EU and some Ricers. Ford Motor Co requires a phosphate free product, I use the Zerex G-05 formula product.

What is the upside to the G-05? Never heard of it, but the bottle alone has my attention, and I need to do a Coolant flush.

I've always used Prestone in my '91, what's the difference with the new engines?
