Default Antenna Base

When they shipped my truck over they had to remove the radio antenna and unfortunately it was stuck and snapped the thread,

I've been looking on various sites and I'm pretty sure this is the right part number but not 100%

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221870759236

Ford Part # 3L3Z18936AA

Looks a simple fix if that is the part I need, remove the black cover, couple of screws and undo the cable on the bottom, repeat in reverse and celebrate

I would order the mast as well but you just know by the time it got to the UK it would resemble a pretzel... lol so I'll get one of those from somewhere over here

Thanks

Adrian.

Excellent, Cheers for confirming

I was pretty sure it was the right one but I know sometimes the compatability lists on ebay can be misleading so wanted to check before I started looking properly and having something shipped over

Did you break the mast also? If so, you'd better order that at the same time before it goes on the ship.

Unfortunately, the mast only has about 2 threads left on it where it snapped when they tried to remove it before putting the truck in the shipping container

I'm hoping I can use the short one I had from my mustang at least as a temp one, radio signal wan't brilliant with it but then again I'm still picking up some stations with no mast at the moment so might be ok with it
