And you sir live in the greatest f150 buying place ever I stubled across the other $400 f150! God I wish I had that luck.

Not sure on the frames. I have never owned a 2wd. As for the "greatest f150 buying place"...its all about how hard you work to find the deals and how persistent you are! For example I keep $5000 cash at home so if and when I find a deal all I have to do is hook up my trailer and go!

As for that black extended cab 4x4 I bought for $400 you mentioned...I put a low mile 4.6 in it that I paid $700 bucks for and sold it to a local collage teacher for $5600.

Thought I would update y'all on the progress of the crew cab. The cab is back on with the new engine, transmission and transfer case in place. I replaced all the exhaust manifold studs in the new motor as a preventative against leaks in the future.
I have had a lot of these trucks and hate the annoying exhaust leaks that can develop over time. So no better time to do it then now!
Also replaced the manifold gaskets with new ford 2 piece gaskets.
