Just re-tap the hole, you can get a tap set from autozone fairly cheap

i had this happen to me when i was trying to reinstall the cop. the bolt snapped off inside the mount. tried tapping the hole but its too far back to get a drill in there to drill it out. ended up putting a piece of heater hose between the pack and the fuel rail. the pack will stay seated on the plug but if you are going through any kind of water (like i did) the water can get underneath the pack because its not seated tightly on the plug, otherwise its fine. i did put the heater hose on top though to keep it on tight just recently. no problems.
