Default another mod question

Can anyone give me any incite on the Gotts mod. I have read where people have been able to achieve more mid to high rpm power. I understand that the silencer has to be removed with this as well. I guess my question is what can I expect by doing the Gotts mod vs. buying a CAI...

With the Gott's mod you: won't be sucking in hot air, not need a custom tune, and with the correct filter flow just as well as a CAI with more particle protection.
CAI you get: less protection, hot engine bay air, looks cool when you open the hood, higher cost, whoosh noise during operation.

Bottom line: dyno tests have proven that the Gott's v. the CAI in flow and power is a draw. Butt dyno's are all different and that accounts for the differing opinions. Gott's mod is the cheapest most effective intake mod.

Default thanks

Thanks for the advice, I will have to get on it as soon as the weather warms up a little and the snow melts.
