Default another engine swap thread?

sorry to do this but I just cant get enough answers by searching this topic,I posted in the engine section also but theres not much going on in there,I need to know what problems I will run into swaping my bad 2001 4.6 romeo with a 2001 crown vic motor, the engine is very low mileage and a good price compared to all the engines i have found from the f150 trucks,im not concerned with the power difference if any since this is going in a 4x4 that i only use when it snows and occasionally on weekends, any info would be great, thanks

Just make sure to swap your old engines, oil pan, intake and throttle body, exhaust manifolds(if there different) and engine harness, all onto your new Vic.engine.

No just put everything from the old engine on the new one. The only thing you keep from the vic are the block, heads, and everything inside. You will use the same fuel system and intake and ignition system from the old motor.

Is your 4.6 a pi motor (pi heads)? If your's is a pi then you are good, I beleive the crown Vic is a pi motor. All you have to do is switch everything from the heads up, alt, manifolds, timing cover and I beleive that everything else is plug and play.
If your motor is not a pi headed motor you will also need to change your intake to a pi one. If you need anymore info just drop me a pm!
