Before I get bashed I have searched and searched and have found similar issues but none exactly the same. My problem is that my cruise will only work the first 1-2 times I push the button per trip. Such as when I start out and set the cruise it will hold speed until I deactivate either with brake or wheel controls and then I may or may not be able to recall or reset the cruise one more time but for sure after the second time it will not work until the truck has been shut off for at least 30 minutes or so, then repeat. Truck is an 03 scab fx4 with 5.4 AT 190,000 miles. Im thinking that it has had brake/cruise recall done at some point cuz it has the new looking wiring harness at the master cylinder with the fuse or whatever and does not leak brake fluid. Any help would be greatly appreciated it sucks on longer trips only being able to set cruise 1-2 and then loosing the option.
