Default Another Cruise Control Thread...

ok, I was going threw trying to figure this out. However many of the posts that had pics no longer are up. So I need some guidance here.

ok I bought the new harness and the new censor a few years back.. and CC never worked figured though it was the speed sensors since I had some brake issues. Well fast forward to now we done changed the speed sensors on both when we re did the front end and the CC still dont work. I'm starting to think I got a faulty bad harness and sensor.. how do I go about testing it?

Which harness do you have? Fused or not fused ? Do you have the recall harness ? If so, remove the tape and check the fuse. Or just pull it off the truck and check it with a meter.

Non fused, I got the adapter and switch off Amazon a few years back never worked.. my old switch was the original that leaked. Had a connector that matched the red end connector.

No problem, I could swear the the recall harness had a 10 mini fuse. Maybe not or perhaps some do.

Changed the fuse and diagnostics still won't show up for it. Never flashes not once.

Just wanted too do a update, Thanks Jbrew! I got it up and running I feel pretty dumb for not knowing there was 2 fuses but the person that did the recall hid that harness pretty well. Bad thing is my cruise control light blew lol, and I just had the instrument panel out about a month ago to change a few too leds. Gotta love it. Thanks Again!
