driving the other day, i noticed cool air coming from the vents on a hot day. the selector on the dash wasn't set to a/c, but that didn't matter. all settings had cool air coming from the vents, definitely cold a/c.

it seems that the a/c compressor is running all the time. i did a search and really couldn't find anything related to that.

any tips?

What a chilling discovery... Ok, bad jokes aside (I apologize for that) I really wouldn't have a clue unless the wires going to the compressor clutch have somehow shorted together... That'd be about my best guess

 

Sounds like a bad heat blendor.Its what blends the cold and hot.Sometime the door sticks open.

 

Ah crap! I should've thought of that! LOL! Wow, it's a good thing it's my Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow... my brain obviously needs some rest
