Ball joints are most common on these to make noise. Make sure you are using chassis grease, and don't bother trying to grease a noisy joint- its done you're just delaying the repair. Let the truck run and move the wheel back and forth, if it makes noise, use a stethoscope from harbor freight or a long screwdriver. Also don't assume a new part is always good.
