Default Aftermarket Headlights

Im looking for some black headlights. Does anyone know which ones are HID safe? They really dont list that on there. Also they can't be smoked and have to have a reflector in them. (Texas Law)

Safe as to the point where it wont melt? Go with the harley lenses. Legal? Retrofit with the same lense.

Get some black lightning or harley lights. You'll have the mean black look but with a clear lens and amber reflector to keep you legal. You can run HID's in them but I would recommend running some silverstar ultras instead, they're bright quality bulbs that let you keep your high an low beams, and they don't heat up or blind other drivers. They actually were brighter and more usable than some HID's I compared them to when I had them.

But if you want to get real custom you can retrofit projectors and get safe HID lights that look way better than any of the one piece ones they offer for our trucks. I recently put together a set with Morimoto MH1 projectors, and 5000k bulbs. I did a writeup on how to build them on here also. They're way better than just having HID bulbs an I still have high beams and low beams. And they don't blind other drivers, I've never been bright lighted because of them.
