Did the 3v get used in some vehicles before the f150 like the f250?

Honestly I don't know that one sorry bud try googleing it the world wide web is full. Of knowledge but even if its a 250 with the 5.4 you don't want it they should have never been offered in a 250 in my opinion unless its got some performance parts you don't want a 250 with a 5.4

hey man, nothing against you, or your network of friends....

but if it was me, i'd go grab the vin when no one is looking, and spend a few bucks getting a carfax report on it rather than risking him lying to you and the feeling you'll experience if you see that the truck has had some major issues with it.

just trying to help you protect your hard earned. that's all

mines a 2000 with 128K and no spark plug issue, only the ones that eject the plugs are the ones that didnt get them torqued down properly. The main other thing with these is the exhaust manifold studs breaking

i'd just hate to hear that your dad and his friend have a fall out because something happend or maybe there's a major issue with it. ex: tranny doesn't shift right after warming up. it's just a stupid example...

but, again, i would hate to see you fight with your dad, and then your dad fight with his friend.

if it was my truck you were buying, i'd be happy that you want to try and cover all your bases. and you're not going to spend money on a carfax, unless you're already serious about it.
