Adjusting headlights horizontally
I installed some Lightening headlights on my truck. I managed to get the headlights close to where they are supposed to be vertically then the beam stopped moving up. I think I am going to have to pull them back out and adjust the bottom screw, since I can't reach the screw from the top, to allow more movement in the top screw. They still need to come up about 4 inches at 25 feet.
I have searched the forum, google and you tube and can't seem to find any thing on proper horizontal adjustment. My passenger headlight is way out to the right almost in the side ditch. What is the proper measurements on wall for this. Should it just be one solid beam on wall or can you still see the two headlights individually on wall. These headlights have a screw for horizontal, I think, but before I pull them back out I would like to know which way this screw turns to bring them in. It would be alot easier to try to get them close with lights out.

When I aimed mine I pulled real close to a wall and marked the center of each beam with an 'X' using tape. Then backed up 20ft and had them like 4" lower. Then adjusted each light to line them up with the X's
So, if I pull real close to the wall and mark the centers with an x, as I back up to 25 feet the beams will start to go apart. The one on the passenger side will go way off to the right and I will have to adjust it to the left until I get it on the x. Am I correct??
You are correct. The pass side light should point straight ahead. The drivers side light may shine a little towards the center so it's not shinning directly into oncoming traffics eyes.
