Ok I'm thinking about buying a 03 fx4. And saw a dodge the other day have a powerpoint inside the center console. How would I add one inside there? I might also add one to the back area if there's not already one back there. My old 04 had one but not sure on the 03. Reason I want to is because I usally have friends with me that always charge there phones and also stuff like radar dectors take up the front indash one. Thanks.

Power port like the accessory port/cigar lighter? Buy an extra one from an auto parts store, then wire it up. It'll need a ground and positive lead. Best bet would be to hook it up to a switched power source (like a fuse that's on/off with the truck ignition.)

Cut a slit in the carpet, then tape the wires to a wire clothes hanger and push it to a spot under the console, put in another slit and pull the wires out. Prob have to get a hole saw and cut a spot in the console (Maybe below the removable cup holder?)

I had an extra couple wired up in my car. Now I hard wire everything.
