Default adding fog lights on a 2000 - doesn't work help

Hey guys,
I always liked the look with the fog lights so I got a a balance out of a 2001 4X4 with the switch I put them on last night but the lights doesn't work, I check and there is power on the socket, also you can see the switch little symbol for the fog turn on, I also tested the bulb
Directly on the battery and works but one of them you have to hit it to start working, my question is when one of them is not good will it still the other side works? I seen many cars with only 1 side on, please any inputs how to fix it? Thanks, By the way I can get the seats power and heated from the same one, mine doesn't have power seats, do the harness should be there anyways? What else do I have to get to install the power seats on my truck?

Ivan

not sure about the fogs, but i had manual bucket seats and i did a power seat swap in my 99. never found any information for it on the internet so i had to figure it out myself. in the passenger side by your feet, behind the plastic there is a plug stuck on the side of the truck, and you have to run two wires from it around and into the plug under the power seats. not sure about the heated part though, it might work the same way. i took some pics on another thread, ill post the link when i find it.

there it is. also, look up in your owners manual what fuse number it is for power seats, and make sure you have one. it was already there in my truck.

so unless they changed the harness in 2000 model from 97 the fog should worke if one is out. one of my plugs is screwed becase some lady in a kia van pulled out infront of me i had to ramp a drive way colvert and take a 2ft chunk of dirt out of the ditch with my bumper. bent my bumper broke that fog light anyway so most of the time that side just stays unpluged and the other works just fine.

so if you have power at both sockets i would get new bulbs even if that one does still come on.
