Default Added cabin air filter - air is leaking now. how should i seal the leak?

So I decided to do a little project the other day and wanted to install a cabin air filter for my 2000 f150 and finished that job. but now when the air is on in the truck, where the seal on the filter box used to be (the one I had to cut out to access the box) is where a lot of air is leaking from the outsides of the filter.

my question is: what types of rubber sealants or tube insulation would any of you recommend that I use to seal up that leak so that it's not so loud and inefficient? I want to be able to go back in and change the filter once it's real dirty, so something like caulk may not be malleable enough to make installing a new one all that easy. Has anyone done this before? If so, I would love to know what you guys did to stop that leak. thanks.

Black duct tape would work well and be out of sight. You can remove it to access the filter and replace or reinstall the tape to keep the air from going out there.

I'd use the metal duct tape. I've used it on car ducting before, and it works really well.
