Remove the u bolts and the center pin and bend back the leaf spring pack clamp. It'll allow the pack to come apart and the axle to drop from the truck. The top leaf will stay attached to the shackles. Leave the shock absorbers bolted in-no need to remove them

See the allignment pin at the end of your second leaf? That's where a factory one should go so I would see if you could purchase one for sure. I'll take a pic of mine

Put a jack stand under each end of the axle for it to rest on also. Oh and I just remembered on the top ubolt plate, the center hole where the leaf pack pin come through had to be opened up a little with a drill because the new pin nut was bigger than the factory one. Easy fix.
