Default Access thru the firewall?

I have a backup camera and I need to run wires to my radio (screen). I can run then thru the frame and up the firewall clean enough but, I need to get into the cab. There is a rubber plug about 8 inches down from the top of the firewall on the drivers side. Does anyone know what’s on the other side? I pulled the plug but I cannot see what’s going on.

If it's the plug I am thinking of, nothing is there. My amp runs through there.....

Pretty simple to double check... have someone shine a flashlight in the hole from the engine compartment, then climb under the dash and look.

I've got a few things going thru that plug (it just comes out under the dash) I also have some wires that run into the rocker panels and then under the door plates and into the cab. I also have a wire (my cb cable) Running through the rear cab vent on the bottom (I think it's still routed that way)

I don't think this guy is coming back... but for future reference, any time you use a grommet for a wire, you should create a drip loop to prevent water from flowing down the wire and entering the cab.
