Default Accelerator Pedal

Ok, so I've been working on my truck some. One of the many things I've been meaning to fix is this. However, I CANNOT FIND WHERE TO BUY A NEW ONE. I assume I'm being a moron or something, but I have spent way too much time looking into this with no success and it's driving me insane.

Do I have to go to a freaking pick-n-pull or something? Why the hell can I not find reasonable results for "1997 F-150 accelerator pedal" or the myriad permutations therein that I've tried? It's a lever that pulls a wire, for fun's sake.

Duct tape?

Within 5 seconds of research I found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gas-Pedal-Assembly-/260786896832?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1997%7CModel%3AF-150&hash=item3cb81c3fc0&vxp=mtr

Sigh. I generally prefer not to ebay things, but that is so far the only place I've seen them online, either. I guess I'm just annoyed that I can't find any proper vendors to sell me a lever and a spring.

Eh, screw it. Purchased.

Looked like a reliable seller, so we will see.

I don't know if an Auto parts store would have been able to look up the part number.
