Default AC stuck only blowin out of the top of the dash fixed

ok guys so when I bought my 97 ford f150 the AC only blew out of the top of the dash and the reason it was doing this was because I had a vacuum leak. I did some digging on the internet and found that there is a T where vacuum lines come together on the passenger side of my truck behind the battery. after inspection I found that one of my vacuum lines what broke in half and from what I have read this is very common. so I fixed the leak and made sure my truck had Freon and BAM AC Fixed.

By the looks of things you may want to do a 'little' battery and wiring maintenance also to keep from having future issues

Was this for all options? Like max ac, ac, defrost, etc?

Sisters escape only blows out the top and bottom on all options wondering if this is it

yes it was on ac and Max ac . Only blew out of the top of the dash until I found that vacuum like messed up . Those OE lines become brittle over time .

Yeah, there are two blend doors. One for temp, and the other for where the air comes out. The defaults are heat and defrost for each door, respectively. So if it dies, you can defrost the windows still, LOL.

The temp actuator is electric, and the "diverter" is vacuum operated.

The red circled actuator is the vacuum actuated door that directs the air. The blue circled actuator is for the temp door.
