Default ac not blowing cold

my ac quit blowing cold. i had it at work and they said the open throttle switch is stuck open not allowing the compressor to kick on. they still gotta look more into it, saying it could also b a bad pcm. has anyone had this same type of problem?

few possibile problems:

1. system is low on r134a
2. a/c cycle switch is bad
3. compressor is bad

I would start by refilling the system with r134
