Ac on defrost only, solution found
After rebuilding my 5.4 not too long ago (was blown when I bought it) I recharged the AC only to find out it only comes out the defrost. Well, in florida when its been 97-100 degrees lately with an average of about 95% humidity the ac only coming out the defrost is worse than having the windows down.
I originally tracked down every single piece of vacuum tubing/line I could and then did it again, and again and nothing would come of it. Everything was exactly as it seemed.
I thought, hell...maybe theres a vacuum line inside that came undone inside the dash...but after recently pulling the entire interior of the truck I didn't want to do it again so soon. Plus, I've been busy rebuilding 3 other engines/trucks.
Tonight I was going to settle it. Knowing you guys are pretty f*cking **** about "USE THE SEARCH FEATURE YOU FKING NOOB" I spent a bit of time researching the topic.
I finally found a unique solution and gave it a go. Found it here:

At first I thought this was going to be one of those BS magic fixes that never work you know. Especially when I started pulling plungers and all the orings were intact. However, once I started to pull the orings off, I realized they were HARD as hell. They literally "cracked" off when I pulled them off.
Replaced them with orings of similar size (actually slightly bigger) and reinstalled everything. Instantly had AC coming out of my vents.
So, thanks for the help. If you guys are having some issues with you EATC (which not that many of the trucks have anyways) I would suggest this.
Just for some FYI. I had heat that would come out of the vents, and AC worked everywhere BUT the vents. The only time the Vent wouldn't work was only when I had it on AC.
