ABS troubleshooting?
I know that there have been a lot of question about this topic (I have sifted through a lot of them in attempt to solve my problem). I have a 2001, 4x4, 5.4L, SCrew with about 140K on it. It has had the ABS light on for a few months which I just ignored. Now that I have a newborn I figured that I should make my truck safer. So I have been trying to get my ABS system working properly.
When I start the truck the ABS light comes on to check the system then goes off, as soon as I put it in gear and start to roll the light comes back on. I have read some other posts and I concluded that it must be the sensors or possibly a bad front bearing/hub. So I have replaced the rear speed senor and both front ABS sensors and there is no play in the front wheels and still the ABS light comes on.
Do any of my fellow F150 fans have suggestions to correct this problem?
