Default ABS and Tail lights

I could use some help figuring out some problems I've been having on my 2002 supercrew lariat Fx4. My drivers side tail light and brake lights weren't working so I pulled the harnesses off and checked continuity on everything. It all came out fine. I put the harnesses back on the truck and now the only lights working are my reverse lights. I'm at a loss. I checked all fuses and had power all the way back. While I was working on the truck I figured I would fix the ABS light that had been on for about a week or two so I check the fuse. It was blown. I put a new fuse in and started it up to see if the light disappeared. It stayed on and while I went back around under the hood I could smell electrical burning and found my ABS pump module burning red hot and melted, I undid the battery and it cooled down. I haven't messed around the ABS too much after that happened so now I'm sitting here with no lights in the rear and a melted ABS module and I could use some guidance on where to start investigating. Thanks in advance.
