Default ABS problems

Im new to this forum so I dont know if im posting this question in the right place but I have a 97 f150 xlt 4x4 rwabs only and when I break hard the rear tires just slide. When I first got the truck the break and abs lights were on but that was fixed by pluging in a connector below the master clinder for the breaks.

Three months later I noticed the breaks locking up again and then when I go to start the truck neither the break light or the abs lights come on like they normally would. I did recently replace the vacuum solenoid ths activates the 4x4, maybe that might have something to do with it? The plug was different on the new one than it was on the old one but I made it work.

Thanks for any helpful info on the abs problem.
