Default ABS problem

Alright, my problem on my 97 F150 is this. The ABS is ALWAYS on. All the time... I could be sitting still and the pump would activiate on its on. When I'm driving down the road without pressing the brakes, the ABS still activates. There is no light, and there are no codes. I have replaced the front hubs and sensors. The brakes look fine around the truck and the rear drums seem free of debris. I got tired of not being able to pinpoint the problem and dealing with the ABS everytime I would tap the brakes, so I took the fuse out to disable the ABS. Now the light is on (obviously) and the truck brakes fine. There is no pulsing or nose diving or noticable pulling. The only difference is no ABS. Any ideas what the problem could be? I'm thinking it's a faulty ABS module, but I just don't want to have to dish out that kind of cash right now...

IMO the ABS system isn't worth fixing. Many times they actually cause more damage rather than actually saving lives. I would just use the truck without ABS...unless you want to fork out tons of $$$
