Can anyone tell me exactly where on the front wheels the ABS sensors are? I think I read they are near the wheel bearing, that would suck.

Default Location of ABS sensor

Here is the rear ABS sensor on my 99 F150. This is looking at the diff from just infront of it, as you can see it is offset to the drivers side. I took one shot straight on and one from slightly above it. Hope this helps.

Default ABS Problem fixed

Yesterday I went the auto parts store and bought a rear ABS sensor for $19.66 with a 10% military discount. Took all of five minutes to change it. The light is out, evidently it was a sensor failure. Pass the word, you don't need to go to a Ford dealer and pay $110. or use an OBD2 reader to change a bad ABS speed sensor.
