Default 99 Ignition switch

It looks like in order to remove my console panels to get at the circuit board for my odometer, I have to remove the ignition switch. How do you do it without screwing it up? Special tools involved? Tech trick like with the headlight switch? Thanks

I'm sure you mean the lock cylinder. There's a small hole at the bottom of the housing that you push a pin into when the key is in the on position. Then just pull out on the lock cylinder.
